As we embrace the summer months in Alaska, there's great news for seniors looking to add fresh, nutritious foods to their diets—senior farmer's market coupons are back! Running from July 1 through October 31, this program is designed to support older adults in accessing locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey sourced from Alaska.

Who Qualifies?

To qualify for these farmer's market coupons:

  • You must be at least 60 years old as of September 30, 2024.

  • You must currently reside in Alaska.

  • Your income must be below 80% of the poverty level.

How To Apply

Applying for the senior farmer's market coupons is straightforward:

  • Contact the Sunshine Clinic either by phone or visit in person.

  • In Willow, contact Lori at 495-4100 x4834; in Talkeetna, contact Jasmine at 733-2273 x2834.

  • Complete a simple application at the clinic, and upon approval, you will receive vouchers totaling $40.00.
