New Episode of Su Valley Voice: Well Child Checks, Immunizations & Healthy Habits!

We’re excited to share this month’s episode of Su Valley Voice on KTNA Radio, where we explored important ways to keep kids healthy and thriving at every stage of development.

👨‍⚕️ Dr. Paul Forman, MD joined us to talk about the importance of Well Child Checks, explaining what they include, why they matter, and how they help track growth, development, and overall health. These regular checkups are key in catching potential concerns early, ensuring kids are on the right path to a healthy future.

💉 Sara Heller, LPN provided insights into essential immunizations for different age groups. She discussed which vaccines are recommended at key milestones and how they help protect against serious illnesses, keeping our schools and communities safe from preventable diseases.

🏫 For a fun and unique perspective, we also heard from Trapper Creek Elementary students, who shared their own tips on how to stay healthy. From staying active and eating nutritious foods to getting enough sleep, to pickles, and practicing good hygiene, these young voices reminded us that small daily habits make a big difference in our overall well-being!

Whether you're a parent, caregiver, or just someone who wants to stay informed about community health, this episode is full of valuable insights. Tune in to KTNA’s website or catch an on-air replay to listen to the full episode.
